General Information:
The HairBow Center accepts orders from and ships to all countries.
The currency displayed on the site and that your order will be processed in is US dollars.
Carrier rates are obtained through USPS and FEDEX and UPS and are based upon total order weight. HBC International Shipping methods are also calculated based on total order weight.
For order sizes over $50, HairBow Center subsidizes the shipping costs for customers choosing the HBC International Shipping or Fed Ex International Economy methods.
*Duties and taxes are not reflected in our prices. The carriers will charge the recipient all applicable duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees at the time of delivery. Duties and taxes are assessed by the local government based on the destination. For information about duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees, you may contact your local customs office or the carrier that delivers your package. We will not alter the price of your order to help in lowering your fees and will state the actual product purchase price of your shipment.
**Note** For customers in the EU, VAT is not collected at time of purchase and you will likely be required to pay this tax upon delivery.
Shipping Information:
Available shipping options include:
* US Postal service First Class or Priority services: 5-45 days* (Estimated)
* FedEx International Economy: 2-6 business day's (Guaranteed) excluding any customs delays
* HBC International Shipping (Delivered by the customers local postal service): 7-15 business days* (Estimated) excluding any customs delays
*Please note that the US Postal service options are frequently less expensive, but can also take considerably longer than FedEx. Delivery times for the US Postal service (USPS) can exceed 45 days as they also utilize your local postal delivery system for the final delivery and there can be significant delays in customs handling. FedEx International Economy delivery times are within 2-6 business days from ship date and include tracking information to your door. Even though you will receive a shipment tracking number, there will be no tracking information available on any international shipments via the US Postal system (USPS). USPS First-class and Priority shipments will only show tracking information until the final US sort facility (usually Chicago) and will then no longer update as the packages leave the USPS system at that time and transition to your local delivery service.
*Please keep in mind that while the carrier of the HBC International Shipping method estimates delivery between 7-15 business days, delays are common. The most common are customs delays, consolidation of packages by the recipients postal service, and inclement weather. Remote addresses also take longer for delivery. Please understand that delivery of this method could take up to 45 days for delivery. Tracking to Chicago, IL, is available for the HBC International Shipping packages. However, tracking ends at Chicago as these packages are handed over to the postal system of the destination country for final delivery. The number included in your shipping confirmation email is not a tracking number. You can obtain the tracking number for your shipment by contacting our customer service department.
